Overview
Suvik Overseas Pvt. Ltd. specializes in bulk B2B supply of safety pins to wholesalers, distributors, garment manufacturers, and export houses worldwide. This policy outlines our shipping procedures, timelines, and responsibilities for all domestic and international orders.
Order Processing & Lead Times
All orders are processed after receipt of confirmed purchase orders (POs) and advance payment as per agreed terms. Standard production and dispatch lead times are as follows:
- Ready Stock Orders: Dispatched within 3–5 business days of payment confirmation.
- Made-to-Order / Custom Packaging: 10–21 business days depending on quantity and specifications.
- Large Export Consignments (FCL/LCL): 15–30 business days including stuffing and documentation.
Lead times may vary during peak production seasons (October–January). Our sales team will communicate updated timelines at the time of order confirmation.
Domestic Shipping (India)
For orders within India, we ship via reputed surface and air freight partners including Delhivery, Safexpress, DTDC, and dedicated road transporters for LTL/FTL consignments.
- Freight Terms: Ex-Works (EXW) Kolkata by default. Door-delivery available on request at actual freight charges.
- Insurance: Transit insurance is available and strongly recommended for high-value orders. Cost borne by buyer unless otherwise agreed.
- Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ): Please refer to individual product pages or contact our sales team for MOQ details.
International Export Shipping
We export to buyers across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Our logistics team is experienced with international documentation and compliance requirements.
- Incoterms: We typically ship on FOB Kolkata / CIF Port of Destination terms. DDP can be arranged on request.
- Port of Loading: Kolkata (INKOL) / Kolkata Airport (CCU) for air freight.
- Shipping Lines & Forwarders: We work with established freight forwarders. Buyers may nominate their own forwarder.
- Documentation: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading / Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin (COO), GST/IGST documents, and any country-specific certificates as required.
- Customs & Duties: All import duties, taxes, and customs clearance charges at the destination port are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Packaging Standards
All shipments are packed to international export standards to ensure products arrive in perfect condition:
- Safety pins are packed in polybags or branded pouches, consolidated in inner cartons, and then in reinforced double-wall corrugated outer cartons.
- Cartons are strapped and palletized where required.
- Each carton is clearly labeled with product details, quantity, batch number, and destination address.
- Custom/private label packaging is available as per buyer specifications.
Tracking & Delivery Confirmation
Upon dispatch, we will share the shipment tracking number or Bill of Lading (B/L) reference with the buyer via email. For domestic shipments, real-time tracking is available via the respective courier's website. For international shipments, tracking updates are available through our freight forwarder.
Damaged or Lost Shipments
In the rare event of goods being damaged in transit or a shipment being lost, the following procedure applies:
- Notify us within 48 hours of receiving the shipment with photographs of the damaged goods and packaging.
- For insured shipments, we will assist in filing an insurance claim on your behalf.
- For uninsured shipments, liability is limited to the replacement value of goods as per the agreed insurance clause in the contract.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, natural disasters, port strikes, or other force majeure events.
Force Majeure
Suvik Overseas shall not be liable for any failure or delay in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, government actions, port congestion, freight carrier disruptions, or any other force majeure event.
